Amazon recently announced a change to how it’s going to pay some authors, moving to a system that pays per page “read”. I’m wondering what your thoughts are on this?
Thanks!

As more of a novelist than a short story or serial writer, I think it’s great. Before, authors were being paid the same for a borrow, whether it was on a 3,000-word short story or a 300,000-word epic fantasy novel. This makes much more sense to me. But we’ll have to wait until August to see what the payouts look like! I think we’ll talk a bit about this on next week’s show (Episode 40).
When and where do you guys do your show live?
Hi, Steve! I always forget to mention it but we record at 6pm PST/9pm EST on Tuesday nights. The video goes live right away on YouTube as we record, but we don’t currently have things set up so we can send the link out in advance. It’s on the to-do list! It would be great to take more listener questions during the show.
